It is always astounding to me as an author when someone likes the work. Most of us write in solitude and second guess our abilities more times than we would care to admit! So when we receive a kind letter or a great review such as this one, it gives us courage to keep going, keep writing, even when we are fairly certain the work will never come together, is much harder than we expected, or life gets in the way of really feeling the story.
So to all who have written to me with kindness or shared what the stories mean to you, to all who have found them worth your precious time in reading – thank you. This writer is grateful beyond words.
