Me here: Didn’t they do a great job with this cover? I’m completely wowed by every one! For my part, I sent them a picture of the model I used for Rachel – and requested the color green be somehow used to depict the tone of jealousy and greed in the story. But I leave the designing to them as they’re the experts!
I just finished the first line edits on Rachel this past week, and my editor said I could wait to look at it again until after our son’s wedding. Whew! This year is simply flying past. I knew if I blinked July would be over, and it’s halfway there already.
But I’m so excited to have you read this story! I could almost wish for February 2014 to get here tomorrow! But wait…I don’t want to be another year older just yet. So I thank you kindly for your patience while my brain is pondering new tweaks and twists for my current WIP, Rahab. I’ve been praying for wisdom on this book and God has used both a weekly Beth Moore Bible study I attend and our pastor’s sermons in Ephesians these past two weeks to divert my thinking in a good direction.
I’m excited to get back into the rewrites of that one. There is so much richness in the blessings and curses and the law and grace in Rahab’s story. But first, Rachel!
