I haven’t posted many reviews or interviews or contests here – mainly because I don’t usually read my reviews and I forget to add the rest! But in case you are interested, here are a few links to some reviews and at least one contest that’s still running: Novel Crossing posted an interview yesterday, and Revell is giving away a copy of The Crimson Cord. Check the site here for details.
Now here are a few reviews from the recent blog tour Revell held for The Crimson Cord:
That’s it for now. I did want to add one more thing. A reader sent me a picture of her 95-year-old friend, Evelyn, holding a copy of The Crimson Cord. I can’t tell you how humbled and honored it makes me feel to know that women of all ages are sharing these stories. (My mother-in-law’s name was Evelyn too!)
My mom is nearly 92 and reading is one of her greatest pleasures. (I knew I picked it up somewhere!) I hope and pray that if you have elderly friends and family that you will share your favorite stories with them – and listen to their favorite stories in return. If not for the stories my grandma told me, I might never have fallen in love with storytelling at all.
Happy reading – and storytelling – and Happy Birthday, Evelyn!
