The Prophetess! 4-star review and coming soon!

My inbox has been hopping today, a sure sign that vacation is over! And with the start of a new year, I am super excited about the upcoming release of The Prophetess! It is already available for pre-order on several online book sites. See the book page for links. (The links in the graphic are not working, but the ones on the page do.) Also today I learned that RT Book Reviews gave The Prophetess a 4-star review, which means “Compelling, page turner.” Thank you RT! Here is what the reviewer said:

“Deborah is portrayed as a strong leader and a sensitive, protective, mother, making this powerful biblical figure accessible to readers. Her struggle to overcome her guilt over her failure to appreciate her husband, as well as her inability to control the actions of others, mirrors problems readers may face. She embodies a powerful woman with human flaws.” Kerry Sutherland

The official release date for The Prophetess is February 2, 2016, but if you live in Michigan and would like an early copy, I will be doing three book signings at Woodside Bible Church where the book will be available for purchase. Here are those details:

Saturday, January 23, 2016 Time: 6:00-6:30 P.M. Place: Woodside Bible Church Troy Campus, 6600 Rochester Road, Troy, Michigan

Sunday, January 24, 2016 Time: 9:30 A.M.-1:00 P.M. Place: Woodside Bible Church Troy Campus, 6600 Rochester Road, Troy, Michigan

Sunday, January 31, 2016 Time: 10:30 A.M.-12:30 P.M. Place: Woodside Bible Church Lake Orion, 2500 Joslyn Road, Lake Orion, Michigan 48360

If you can make it, I would love to meet you!

In the meantime, I am working on finishing the last novella about the Queen of Sheba for the Loves of King Solomon series and then I can begin work on the last book in the Daughters of the Promised Land about Hannah. (I turned in Ruth’s story before Christmas.)

It promises to be a very busy year as we visit our kids and have family come to see us. Not to mention many home projects of which there seems to be no end.

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday, but now I’m ready to get 2016 started. How about you?

Happy reading~
